Refund policy
RETURNS AND COMPLAINTS
Effective 30 July 2026.
1. 14-day returns
A Consumer, and a sole trader with consumer rights, may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the parcel.
Returns are free. The Seller covers the cost of sending the item back.
2. The seal on the jar
Every jar carries a tamper-evident seal applied across the join between the lid and the jar.
- Seal intact — you may return the item. You may open the outer carton and inspect the jar.
- Seal broken, torn or removed — the right of withdrawal does not apply.
The exclusion is based on Article 38(5) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, which excludes withdrawal for goods supplied in sealed packaging that cannot be returned once opened for reasons of health protection or hygiene.
For sets containing more than one jar, the return covers the whole set and requires the seals on all jars to be intact.
This exclusion does not limit your right to complain about a faulty product, described in section 6. A defective product may be the subject of a complaint regardless of the state of the seal.
3. How to return an item
- Email sklep.tavora@gmail.com with your order number and a statement that you are withdrawing from the contract. You may use the form at the end of this page, though you are not required to. The declaration may also be posted to Zabór Mały 6, 55-330 Zabór Mały, Poland.
- We will send you a prepaid return label.
- Pack the jar so it will not be damaged in transit, attach the label and drop the parcel off at any InPost parcel locker.
- Send the item back within 14 days of your withdrawal declaration.
If you return the item independently, without arrangement and without our label, we will reimburse the postage up to the cost of an InPost return shipment.
4. Refunds
We refund all payments received, including the delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal declaration.
We may withhold the refund until the item has reached us.
Refunds are made using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree to another method that costs you nothing.
If you chose a delivery method more expensive than the cheapest ordinary method offered, we do not refund the difference.
On a partial return, delivery costs are not refunded unless the rest of the order is also returned.
You are liable for any reduction in the item's value resulting from handling it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
5. Orders damaged in transit
If your parcel arrives damaged, email sklep.tavora@gmail.com with photographs of the packaging and contents. A damage report drawn up with the carrier helps, but its absence does not limit your rights.
6. Complaints — lack of conformity with the contract
We are liable for any lack of conformity with the contract that existed at delivery and becomes apparent within 14 days of that date, under Chapter 5a of the Consumer Rights Act.
How to report: email sklep.tavora@gmail.com or write to Zabór Mały 6, 55-330 Zabór Mały, Poland. Include your order number, a description of the problem and the remedy you want. Photographs help.
Our response: within 14 days of receiving your report.
What you can request: replacement. Where replacement is impossible or would involve excessive cost, you may request a price reduction or withdraw from the contract on the statutory terms.
The Seller covers the costs of replacement, including shipping.
What complaints do not cover: natural variation in colour, texture and scent arising from the origin of the raw materials, and changes caused by storage inconsistent with the instructions on the packaging.
7. Disputes
We agree to take part in mediation conducted by the Regional Inspectorate of the Trade Inspection. Submitting a dispute to the permanent arbitration court requires a separate agreement signed by both parties in the individual case.
The register of authorised entities is maintained by the President of UOKiK (uokik.gov.pl). Free assistance is also available from municipal and district consumer ombudsmen.
Use of these procedures is voluntary and does not deprive you of the right to pursue claims in court.
