Why tallow

Tallow is close in structure to the lipids your own skin makes, which is why it absorbs instead of sitting on top. We start with tallow from a documented supplier.

Our tallow

Our tallow is suet, the firm fat that sits around the kidneys. It makes up most of every jar and decides how the cream feels, which is why we source it from Polish farms.

Vitamins A, D, E and K2

Naturally present in tallow, these fat-soluble vitamins help support your skin barrier.

No perfume, no essential oils

The jar smells faintly of what it is made from, and nothing was added to change that. If scent is the thing your skin reacts to, there is none of it here.

No fillers, no preservatives

No added preservatives, and nothing that does not earn its place. Every ingredient is here for a reason.

We create pure skincare formulations using carefully selected natural ingredients to support healthy, radiant looking skin.

    We make Tavora creams in Poland. The tallow comes from Polish farms.
    We buy the oils, the jars and the labels from Polish suppliers. We
    blend each batch and fill every jar here. Everything sits in one
    country, from the farm to the label.

  • Clean ingredients

    Our creams have short ingredient lists, and everything on them is there to feed your skin rather than to hold the formula together. Tallow and oil combine without synthetic preservatives, emulsifiers or binders, so we leave those out. Fewer ingredients means fewer things that can set off a reaction on sensitive skin.

  • How Tavora started

    Tavora is a family business. We got tired of cosmetics with long ingredient lists full of things that do nothing for skin, so we started making our own at home. Family used it first. Then friends began asking for jars, and asking again. That is how Tavora started.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
