Tavora

Our story

How a jar of whipped tallow went from our kitchen to yours.

The beginning

We got tired of reading labels

Tavora is a family business. We spent years squinting at ingredient lists full of things that do nothing for skin, so we started making our own cream at home: tallow, good cold-pressed oils, nothing else.

Family used it first. Then friends began asking for jars, and asking again. That is how Tavora started.

The ingredient

Why tallow, of all things

Tallow is close in structure to the lipids your own skin makes, so it absorbs instead of sitting on top. It carries vitamins A, D, E and K2 in a form skin recognises.

We whip it with a few cold-pressed plant oils and stop there. The face cream holds four ingredients. The balm holds two. No fragrance, no preservatives, no fillers.

The place

One country, farm to label

We make every batch in Poland. The tallow comes from Polish farms; the oils, the jars and the labels come from Polish suppliers. We blend each batch and fill every jar ourselves.

We know every step because we did it.

What we promise

Short ingredient lists

Four ingredients in the face cream. Two in the balm. Each one is there to feed your skin.

No fragrance

No perfume and no essential oils. They sit among the most common triggers for reactive skin.

Nothing synthetic

No preservatives, emulsifiers or binders. Tallow and oil hold together on their own.

Certified cosmetics

All our cosmetics are certified. Every jar meets EU safety rules before it goes on sale.

The jars our friends kept asking for

One for your face, one for your face and the rest of you. Both melt in on contact and leave no film behind.
